This straight razor was made in the early 1900s in Solingen, Germany by Friedr. Baurmann & Söhne. It is their Alecto model with a Dutch point 5/8 full hollow ground blade. The blade is in very nice condition, with very little tarnish, and it is shave ready. This is a very beginner friendly straight razor.
It has what I believe are the original scales in a faux wood finish and they are in good condition.
This razor has been restored and is in shave ready condition, no stropping is needed before your first shave.
Return and Refund policy
We accept returns within 7 days of the original purchase date. To be eligible for a return your product must be in the same condition that you received it. Damaged items will not be eligible for return.
The Return Process
Initiate: Contact us at info@southriverstraightrazors.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
Authorization: If your return is approved, we will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions.
Shipping: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within [5-10] business days.
